About these terms
YowzaMap.com (“YowzaMap”, “we”) is operated by Brebis.cz s.r.o., ID No. 24567108, Koterovská 601/25, 326 00 Plzeň, Czech Republic. These terms apply to the testing preview of YowzaMap. By requesting access, you agree to them.
The preview
YowzaMap is under construction. During the preview it is free and open only to people whose request for access we approve. We decide on requests at our discretion, and we may end anyone's access, or the whole preview, at any time.
No guarantees
The preview is provided as it is. Features may change, break or disappear, and the service may be unavailable at times. We keep your routes and settings with your account, but data in a preview can still be lost - export anything that matters to you as GPX.
Plan responsibly
Routes are calculated automatically from map data that can be incomplete or out of date, the heatmap shows where people have gone, not where it is safe or allowed to go, and the weather along a route is a forecast, not a promise. Check every route yourself, follow local rules and signs, and judge the conditions on the spot. You ride and run at your own risk.
Maps and data
Basemaps, map and elevation data, weather forecasts and the heatmap belong to their providers - Mapy.com, Thunderforest, Mapbox, OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles and OpenStreetMap contributors, the providers of the elevation data, MET Norway and Strava - and their terms apply to them. Use them to plan your own routes; don't copy, bulk-download or republish them. The heatmap is shown only through the optional YowzaMap Heatmap browser extension, under your own Strava account, and Strava's terms apply to how you use your account.
Your access
Access is personal: don't share it or let anyone else use your account. Don't try to get around the access checks, overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
Sharing routes
When you share a saved route, anyone with its link can see it - its name, description, the routes with their named points and elevation - download it as GPX and save a copy of their own. You are responsible for what you share: don't share routes you have no right to, and think about what a route says about where you live or ride. You can stop sharing at any time; the link then stops working, but copies others already saved stay theirs.
Feedback
Hearing from testers is the point of the preview. You allow us to use your feedback to improve YowzaMap, without any obligation towards you.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage arising from using the preview or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; when we do, we will ask you to agree to the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
